Is your pool pump using more electricity than you can afford?

As a swimming pool owner, you may not be aware of that fact that your pool pump alone uses more than 20% of the electricity that you pay for on a monthly basis.

A pool pump needs to run long enough each day so that it filters the water at least once. Twice is ideal but three times is not necessary and wastes electricity. It is impossible to stop the monthly electric costs of a pool but it is very easy to reduce them drastically. The larger a pool pump is, the more electricity it will consume.
